Rachael + Daniel

It was a stormy day in the Hudson Valley when Rachael and Daniel were set to get married outside, and down the trail on the grounds of the gorgeous Hasbrouck House in Stone Ridge, NY, on June 28, 2018. These two were eloping and the intimate setting was supposed to take place down a path near the pond.

When we left the room to embark down some muddy hills, there was misty rain, but part of the sky was blue, the sun was really trying to shine her brightest. There was a time when it was both raining and sunny. But when we got to the ceremony spot, it was full sun.

To be a part of this elopement was truly magical. Rachael and Daniel have so much chemistry and love exuding from them — their words to each other were just so incredible. I felt so emotional during the ceremony, really feeling what their love meant to them. To witness it was such an honor.

We had candle lighting as part of the ritual, as well as handfasting. And it was perfect.
